Accounts Receivable Analyst

Department: Accounts Receivable
Location: Elizabeth, NJ

GGG companies provide strength in sourcing, insurance, finance, logistics, food safety, and information technology, and supply the needs of retailers, distributors, food service chains, hotels, cruise lines, and food manufacturers alike.

The Accounts Receivable Analyst plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy of promotional offers. This position supports Accounts Receivable, Business Development Managers and Marketing by providing information verification and addressing system issues. In addition, the AR Analyst will communicate with the Sales teams to ensure offer and pricing integrity.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Research and negotiate chargeback claims.
  • Manage and align transactions between the Accounts Receivable, Marketing, Sales, and Business Development departments to ensure that proper communication is maintained throughout the organization regarding marketing programs.
  • Perform high volume quantity validation for promotions, rebates, contract pricing and all other marketing programs.
  • Validate the accuracy and quality of the programs entered and reviewed by Sales, Marketing, and department managers.
  • Manage communication from Sales, Marketing, and division to correct reported issues.
  • Research contract pricing and marketing system issues to determine necessity of involving various departments involvement.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to identify, manage and resolve issues.
  • Enter all promotions into our AR DC module for visibility and reporting purposes.
  • Assist in creating reports as needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2 - 3 years’ experience in a similar
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Programs - Proficient in Excel
  • Detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to balance multiple projects at one time and drive initiatives to completion
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal (written and verbal) communication skills
  • Proven multi-tasking and time management skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to an evolving business environment with changing priorities
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Assertive, self-starter, motivated
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed
  • Tenacity to persist and remove roadblocks
  • Program, promotions, rebate, contract pricing experience a plus
