The combined revenues of GGG exceed $1.7 billion. GGG sources products from over 60 countries and supplies leading retailers, distributors, chain restaurants, hotels, cruise lines, and food manufacturers.
Gellert Global Group is seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Marketing to lead marketing efforts across its portfolio of global sourcing companies. The VP of Marketing will be responsible for shaping and executing a unified marketing vision that enhances brand equity, drives customer engagement, and supports business growth across domestic and international markets.
Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
Develop and articulate a unified marketing strategy for GGG and its brand family ensuring consistency, clarity, and differentiation in the marketplace.
Oversee brand architecture and positioning across product lines and business units (imported specialty food, frozen/shelf-stable, value-added, etc.).
Partner closely with Sales and Business Development teams to support product launches, go-to-market plans, and customer presentations.
Lead brand communications, public relations, content marketing, social media, trade shows and industry events.
Oversee packaging design efforts for GGG brands and help build stories around these brands.
Develop and manage marketing budget, KPIs and metrics (e.g., brand awareness, ROI) and provide regular reporting report to the executive team.
Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team; promote best practices, agility, and cross-functional alignment.
Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure marketing strategy supports corporate priorities such as brand integration, international expansion, and strategic growth initiatives (e.g., acquisitions, partnerships).
Oversee internal communications strategy and execution to ensure alignment, engagement, and consistent messaging across the organization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field required; MBA preferred.
10+ years of progressive marketing experience with leadership responsibility, ideally within food, FMCG, or import/export sectors.
Proven ability to build and execute marketing strategies that drive growth, brand equity, and competitive differentiation.
Strong digital marketing expertise, including analytics, CRM/marketing automation, e-commerce, and customer-insight capabilities.
Experience with B2B channels (foodservice, distribution, manufacturing) and exposure to consumer/brand marketing is highly desirable.
Demonstrated success leading, inspiring, and developing high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and business acumen; able to partner effectively with Sales, Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, and senior leadership.
Exceptional verbal and written communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
Track record of success in brand building, digital marketing, and working with or supporting international markets.
Salary Range: $200,000 - $230,000 annually plus bonus
Our company will be relocating to a new corporate headquarters in Madison, NJ in Q4 of 2026. Candidates should be comfortable with this upcoming change in location.
